family

it's been 3 months since my brother's family moved in and each day it's not making me happy...most of the time people have asked me who i'm staying with and why must it be this way...? not even one asked me if someone is staying with me...and everytime anyone asks me i'll educate them. so and so is staying with me... i missed my privacy.

this morning i found that my brother brought back his workers into my house again last night. the first time was during my bali trip and without my knowledge he brought back his workers to spend the night at my house. GOD is great and the truth always comes out. the first time was his own children accidently blurt it out and the second time was me finding it out myself by going into the children's room. this cannot happen anymore. my brother betray my trust and his wife is the accomplice.

i wished they will get their own flat soon...

what did i do today

woke up at 7.30am and i slept at 9.30-9.45pm last night. last nite i was feeling a little of mixed emotion. today was slightly better i got hold on my time wisely. from doing 3 loads of laundry, getting rid of my last year bills(paperwork), have a quick b'fast, got ready to meet PP. we had lunch at pizzahut and after lunch we went shopping of bedsheets at Aussion. i got a 20dollars voucher to redeem from UOB. after that we went to watch a movie- AVP part 2. it was an ok movie and i find it a bit too long 1hr 30mins to be exact.

after movie we went to collect my laundry and it was raining quite heavily. all this while i was enduring a headache. this happens twice before and it happened only when i drank 'pink dolphin' in the cinema...so weird right...

tomorrow i'm back to work and then the following Monday & Tuesday I'm OFF...what shall I do...? hmmmm....Sunday must sms CB and wish him Happy Birthday...

the Day before The New Year of 2008

It's been a while since I last visited this site. I guess I should. so many things have happened in 2007. I hope to put it all behind and look foward. yesterday we went out to Orchard road and i wanted to get a nice expensive watch to commemorate my 3rd year anniversary with Starwood. i did try looking for it when i was in BKK but didn't managed to get one and i was glad i didn't coz it's only right to use the TAKA voucher(Company give wan mah). and so i got myself a pink GUESS watch with 10% discount and Swarsoski(not sure if the spelling is right) around it. It cost me $196.20 I used $190 taka voucher and top up the rest. i was quite satisfied with it.

before all that happened i was in the movie with PP, we were watching I am Legend. did i enjoyed it...? the answer was YES. and so after movie we took a taxi down to TAKA. we told the uncle Takashimaya shopping center, upon reaching wisma uncle say TAKA later got jam can he instead alight us at Mandarin Hotel? my eyes was beaming with joy and the reason was Braun & Buffel is having a moving out sale. and so i got myself a $163.00 handbag from there. original price was $259.00...i have fallen in love with that brand since i laid my eyes on herworld magazine months back...

after all that shopping we went for a late lunch at coca steamboat and i spotted an up and rising TS working as a waiter...very flamboyant type...and after lunch we went to Courts at BT.Timah to get my long awaited dressing table it took me more than 6months to decide. after a few rounds going up and down i finally decided on one that comes with slidding mirror. that cost PP close to $300.00 including delivery, friday they will send. I'm so happy. Thanks PP!!!

it's about time...

i was so looking foward to today. it's the AL that i have applied since last year. since the company have so many staff we need to ballot for hot dates sometimes you are lucky sometimes you don't...much has happened at the office from renovations and unwanted invitation. talking about unwanted invitation...i got one from someone from the office. this is how it goes...one day at work somebody approached me with assistance to do something, without hesistation i agreed to help and after i agreed to help that someone invited me to his/her house and it's a little bit too obvious.u want something and then in return u gave something which was not meant for me. how i came about to know when i saw the list of invited people and on that list my name was not in it... that person invited me only after i have agreed to do a favour for him/her...?WTF...? without hesitation i declined the invite. u need favour just ask...don't have to go thru all the above right...???!!!

there is another thing that i've heard...someone is trying to find out about my PVT life...what's with all these...? u want to know just ask, don't go and ask other people about me...and chances of me telling is minus zero=information unauthorize!!!!

It's party time...

last friday at the spurrrr of the moment and don't know what came over me i decided to let my hair down and party. i went to a club down at tanjong pagar and meet some of my old friends and after that we went to another club called RAV. it was a so so club, used to be happening but not now...it's all the wrong crowd. we left about 10mins later upon going in...

last friday as usual the mood at the office was chirpy...chirpy becoz it was Friday. it's all about the money. no work no money, no money cannot buy clothes, cannot pay bills and there is a lot of things that one cannot do without money. So work is money, after a 5day work week, Friday is the happiest day. anyway the halloween deco is up and hari raya deco has been removed to make way for Halloween...

last friday too was a day to celebrate my close brush with another CIE. mother call for me to her cubicle and as usual my heart is always racing. one bitten twice shy, they say...the reason mother call me was to inform me that i'm not longer guilty as charged. mother investigated the CIE again and found that i should not be penalised and they brought this matter to "high court" and after much deliberation i was found not guilty...when mother told me the news, my eyes were so closed to tears...

the rest of the day was a HAPPY day for me...

Charity Bazzar

Yesterday the Charity bazzar ended and we have collected over $1000, we didn't expect that so much amount but it was all good. most of the items are used but still in good condition, how this works is that we compiled the items which the associates including me contributes and in return we sell them at an affordable price. we sold them back to associates who likes them, some items go as low as 50cents and some as high as $70. i was eyeing a used cosmetic box which was selling at $20 but in the end i gave up as i think it was a little pricy. in the end the item went for $10 and someone else got it. i guess it was just not meant to be. in the end i got myself one beach hand bag, tote bag and one silver bracelet. some of the unsold items were returned back to the owners. Ms R was telling me yesterday to emailed the associates who donated the items to collect them back from me but i insisted to return them personally as they came to me personally to donate, so it's only right to do the same thing lor...

remember the CIE thing that i mentioned in my last 2 posts and yes it was an indeed a CIE it was a stupid mistake pertaining the AMEX pending!!! and so now i learnt not to say YES if i'm not sure or 'i think so too'to the caller. it's ok to say that you are not sure and to check with the appropraite people and to confirm again to the Guest. but if you see this picture that i'm going to paint, sometimes this mistakes are bound to happen!!!imagine you are answering 60 calls a day and say 10% of that calls in a day, you were asked questions which are not loaded up on the system whereby you are unable to provide answers and then you offered to check and revert. then you multiple the questions by 5 days work week and say lah for example the Hotel took 2days to answer...imagine the amount of follow-up one needs to do...so sometimes in order to work smart, the accident answer 'yes' automatically comes out from your mouth and the GUEST take that as an answer...and CIE falls into place...how like that...?and so i was penalised and my incentive will be deducted as usual. as for the amount mother will get back to me lor...another big amount i guess...

next sunday it's going to be T&J anniversary, it's nice to know that i'm going to be a part of it again this year. last year we did it at prop 471 and this year it's going to be prop 1844 and hopefully next year i hope we could do it at the St.Regis...(must see if T&J got big budget or not lor...)

for the record this week i'm doing the 12-8 shift and in my opinion the time flies quite fast but as for conversion wise i'm not too sure...let's see how i fare by end of this week...

Hari Raya Eve...backdated

there are times that i told myself that i need to blog my everyday experience online and always in the end i didn't...due to things that have more priorty. so now i blog what i remember...(i'm pausing now while trying to recall...)ok I'm back after about 15mins later.

work lately has been busy. more calls are coming in and since last week prop 1844 and prop 471 has been heavily booked. whenever the calls come in, it's always for these 2 properties...so yesterday and Monday was really bad for me and it's going to pull down my numbers.

it's been a few months that i have been giving that someone the cold shoulder and yesterday i smiled...i think it's about time to let go of the ego...a

and so back to the eve of HRP...i went to see my mun and sis right after breakfast. that night was the first time PP met my mum and my sis. i introduced PP to my mum went we reach her place to send the hari raya cookies. PP said to her selamat hari raya and smiled and she smiled back i think. she cooked for us ayam masak merah(chicken in tomato sause malay style, you normally will get this dish on hari raya), satay sauce, lontong, cornflakes cookies and she brought to more cookies from JB. One is Makmur(those green cookies with sugar on top and almond cookies) and surprisingly they are good. in return which was already planned much earlier i ordered some homemade cookies from suri's mum and gave my mum...i hope she liked it.

after mum's place we took a cab to my sis's place. oh did i mentioned PP contributed angpao for my mum also...? yes he did and i was touched. upon reaching sis's place to collect more food :-) we were greeted by 2 of my niece & nephew...they are so cute!!!

and so that was how i spent my Hari raya eve with PP...
